She originally had glasses that she only wears on occasion now. She changed the style into a pair of pigtails held by yellow flower-shaped scrunchies. Tsubomi has maroon eyes and long, curled hair originally worn into a low ponytail with her bangs evenly spread to frame her face. Her catchphrase is 'I can't stand it anymore!' ( 私、堪忍袋の緒が切れました！, 'I can't stand it anymore!' ?).

Tsubomi's alter ego is Cure Blossom ( キュアブロッサム, Cure Blossom ?) and she represents the flower, cherry blossom. She is a second-year transfer student at Myoudou Academy and is in the same class as Erika.
